Oh how I love to smile!

Hooper was 8 weeks old last Thursday and he is so much fun! As you will see he definitely has smiling and laughing down now. Yes there are a TON of pictures of him just smiling away, but I cannot bear not posting them all to share with you. They're all just too cute to resist. I only wish I could some how capture the sound of his laughter to go along with the pictures. Trust me it would melt your heart! I hope you don't mind but this blog has lots and lots of pictures, so happy looking! Thank you for enjoying Hooper as much as we do. We hope to see everyone very soon!!!

Ok, truth be known....Dee is the miracle worker behind these pictures. He would get Hooper's hands and bang them on the center of the seat we have him in acting like he's playing the drums and Hooper would just scream with laughter. There is nothing sweeter in the world than his laughter!

He would laugh so hard he would fall over. Now that's tickeled!

Hooper's favorite thing in the world is his swing. I told Dee today that if we ever had a fire that I would grab Hooper and he had to grab his swing. It's THAT important. He can be screaming to the top of his lungs and we put in him in his swing and it's like a switch. Immediately he calms down. Thank you God for this swing!!!!!

Dee and Hooper love playing in the floor together. Hooper constantly stares him down. Oh how he adores his Daddy!
Now this is what I call multi-tasking. Dee is playing with Hooper and petting Gibson at the same time. And look how good Gibson is, he gets as close as he can but not ON Hooper's blanket. By the way this is a very special blanket. Hooper's Great Grandmother, Ma made this for him. He loves it. Thank you Ma!!!

These are pictures from the first time he sat in his Bumpo seat. It's the greatest invention ever~! As you can see it is a huge hit!! Thank you Lisa Ann!! Great gift!!!

Last week Hooper took his first nap in his crib in his nursery. At night he sleeps in his bassinett in our room and during the day he's been napping in his Pack'n'Play in the living room. But to start getting him (and me) use to sleeping in his room I'm starting to have nap time in there. Pray for the both of us for this situation. Everytime I leave the room he wakes up and I'm just not ready for him to be so far away at night yet.
I realized I've never posted any pictures of his room, so here you go. A friend of ours, Howard Freeman painted the mural for us.
Ok I'm going to explain it to you non-Tennessee fans. The first picture below is of the Smokey Mountains with the Tennessee River running through them and the bridge which is behind Neyland Stadium going over the river.
This picture shows Smokey the Tennessee mascot "treeing" the other SEC mascots.

This shows the Tennessee Valley behind his crib and of course the Smokey mobile which plays nothing else but Rocky Top! And notice the newest addition to his room...his T rug. His MaMaw and Papaw sent that to him from Tennessee. It just tops the room off! Thanks Frances and Don!!!

Another sweet picture of his first nap in his crib.

Every time Dee has to travel either my parents come to our house or I go to their house. Last week Hooper and I went to their house for a quick visit. Hooper thoroughly enjoyed playing with his Sue-Sue!
Oh what sweet sugars!

This is a bad exposure but I still could not resist. Check out those shorts. Is he styling or what? Dr. Spencer, Sue-Sue's boss, said he has on his "city clothes" and needed to get some country clothes to wear when visiting, ha!
Here's Hooper with his Great-Uncle John-John and Great-Aunt Connie Kay. And I mean the word "great" in both ways!

And of course a visit to Blossom would not be complete without spending some much loved time with Ma!

I love this picture. It's grainy (sp?) but I still love it. I'm not sure why Dee's hands are as they are, but it turned out too precious!

This is how Hooper wakes up from his naps in his Pack'n'Play. He is such a morning baby! Just another trait he gets from Dee!

Bath Time! Oh bubbles are so much fun! This is my favorite time of the day with Hooper for some reason. Just like his swing, if he's really fussy I can run a tub of bubbles and he immediately calms down.
Naked baby alert! Notice the wash cloth strategically placed, ha! Even though during this bath we did get a picture of him making a fountain, I didn't think it was very appropriate to post. But trust me, it's hilarious!
Oh sweet baby!
You should be in pictures....oh wait you are!

Fish Lips...

Two Saturdays ago Hooper and I met the old "Grand Homes" girls for a lunch reunion. Not everyone could make it, but here's some fun photos of Hooper with the girls.
Jasmine and Hooper

Victoria thought Hooper was GRAND. She was a huge help that day keeping him entertained during lunch!
Hooper loved Kathleen too! Her shirt kept his attention. Very pretty!!

Jasmine's son, Joshua trying to kiss Hooper. My what a face he's making. He's not real sure about this, ha!
Jasmine and her little man, Joshua! He is the cutest little guy!
Mommy and Hooper sitting on the fire place.
Angie and Hooper. Oh my how he loves her!
Dee's teaching Hooper how to "hi-five." I think he's getting the hang of it too.
Hooper wanted to talk to his MaMaw so Dee gave him the phone. He's really into the conversation too. Isn't that precious! Oh how he misses his Mamaw and PaPaw!
And last picture of this posting...another shot of Hooper talking on the phone. Is Dee a proud Daddy or what? Craig and Hooper are so blessed to have him as a Dad!!!
