Blog #2 is finally here!

Well as you see I am still extremely slow at this blog thing. But a lot has happened in the last 10 days since the first update. Hooper went to the doctor this past Wednesday at 1 day away from his 3 week birthday and he weighed in at 9 lbs and 5.5 ounces. WOW!!!! His father and I definitely see the NFL in his future! Hooper had his first mini-cold this week. But with some much fun nose spray/suctioning and TLC he is much better now.

Last weekend my parents, his Aut and Sue-Sue, along with my Grandmother, Ma came for a visit. Dee had to go to Tucson, AZ for work Monday and Tuesday so they came up to babysit Hooper and me. It was the first time Ma got to hold Hooper. She was there the night he was born but had to leave before she was able to hold him. He really loved all them being here and doting over his every move!

Below are some pictures of the past 10 days. I've put them in order once again from most recent on top. Thanks for taking the time to check in on our little angel! We love you! Dee, Daphney & Hooper

These are pictures of his first bath. It took 3 adults to get the job done, but we did it! He loves tub baths much better than the wet wipe baths he had to take before his belly button healed.

Why do we love naked babies so much? I'm sure Hooper will greatly appreciate this photo some day!

Is he cool or what? He is so ready for the beach!! Thanks Diane for the cool gigs!

Hooper is ready for his shopping trip! We introduced him to Costco, Kohl's and Joe's Crab Shack on this outing. Only the best for our little man, ha! Aut pushed him through Kohl's and he said Hooper laughed out loud and smiled at him all through the store. I think we may have a little shopper on our hands. Or maybe he just loves his Aut!

This is one of my favorite pictures! Sue-Sue was holding Hooper and jealous box, Gibson had to be a part of the action! Too cute!!!!!

Sleeping Angel!

Hooper's first Sunday at Church.

Moses has a little jealousy problem too. Anytime Aut holds Hooper, he thinks he must be right there. Aut loves to kiss Hooper's feet. Believe it or not this is just one of several pictures I have of him kissing his feet!

Is this precious or what?

Ma holding her Great-grandson for the first time. Hooper thinks she's pretty special too. While here Ma gave Hooper a beautiful baby blanket she made him and an even more special present....her wedding ring. I hope he will use it some day for his God given wife. Thanks again Ma. Hooper and I will cherish it forever!!!

Here's some more photos of Hooper and his Daddy. I just can't resist taking them. They're just too cute together. Two peas in a pod!

More father and son "tummy time."

Dee's showing Hooper what he does at work. As you see Hooper is bored, ha!

This is what I woke up to one morning. Dee had taken Hooper in the wee hours of the night to calm him down and well.......it looks like they both finally fell asleep!

Our first walk! Of course Hooper slept through the entire walk, but Gibson loved it!

Another sweet picture of him sleeping.
Hooper already loves to read! We're working on the correct pronounciations now!
Peep-Eye!
Mommy's getting some sweet Hooper Lovin'! We think he's blowing kisses when he makes this face.

Daddy and Hooper having some "play time."

Gibson rarely let's Hooper out of his site. Everytime Hooper cries he runs over to him to check it out.
Check out those cheeks! I think he's storing up for winter, ha!
