Christmas morning 2009

What a glorious morning we had today! Not only did we celebrate the birth of our Savior but we also celebrated Neyland's first Christmas...and it was WHITE! What a wonderful surprise. 2 days ago it was 71 degrees, then yesterday a Texas blizzard hit us hard and we were blessed with a beautiful white Christmas morning. I cannot remember the last time it's been white on Christmas, but we're thankful! Below are some pictures from this morning.

Here's the Christmas surprise the boys woke up to: Stockings filled with goodies...and lots of LOVE!
Our beautiful house covered with snow.
Neyland and Dad on Neyland's First Christmas
Looking out off our front porch. Isn't it beautiful!
Oh, the boys are up and ready to play with their new presents. Let the Jesus Birthday Party begin! Neyland got his first T-ball set.
And well Neyland got a Donald Duck too, but Hooper thought it was his.
Thankfully Neyland is good at sharing...for now.
Hooper got a Caterpillar front end loader with a hard hat, HUGE HIT!
Wow, Hooper's very own John Deere riding lawn mower and trailer. Oh and Pluto too! First thing Hooper said when he got on was "batteries please." Well so sad, it's pedal powered.
Pluto going for a ride. First of many I'm sure.
This year Hooper really got into opening presents. Neyland on the other hand was happy just playing with a block.

Christmas kiss
Notice the adorable matching pj's? Papa bought them for the boys. Thanks Papa, we love them!

Pure sweetness

Let's take a little break and look out the window at the Christmas snow.
He also got a firetruck. Pluto really enjoyed riding on it.

No pj outfit is complete without work boots.
Ok, grandparents do not freak out. We were only outside for 2-3 minutes...promise!
The boys just had to go out and see the snow.

I could not get him to pose for anything!
My Christmas blessings! Yes, Hooper was tasting the snow. Thankfully he didn't like it, ha!
Christmas angel!

All that excitement wore little man out so he needed a Christmas nap...with Donald.
That's it for Christmas morning. We are so blessed. Merry Christmas everyone and God bless!
