It happens to everyone I know, but in the past 6 or so weeks it seems like we're the target. Everything in our house has either broken or something has gone wrong with it. And to say the least, we're tired of it!!! Here's a quick run down: First of all our garage door broke so we had to buy a new one, then we lost the last baby, the receiver on the entainment unit in the living room went out and is now in the shop being repaired, our wireless internet stopped working and Dee can't figure out what went wrong or how to fix it, the vaccum cleaner jammed up (thankfull Dee was able to fix this without any $ being spent), our alarm on the house has a light that started flashing that we cannot figure out why and now it beeps all night, the grill will not light anymore, and last week when Hurricane Ike came through our window and wall in the kitchen started leaking (see photos below). But the good news is we are all healthy and no harm has been seriously done other than to our bank account, ha! Ok, I'm done venting now. On to some Hooper pictures.
He loves to play in the cabinets (and yes I let him). But look how cute he is when he does it!
Could you turn down those big blue eyes?
Recently he discovered our Engagement photo on the end table and loves it. He points to Dee and says "Daddy" over and over. I can't get him to realize that I'm in it too.
So today he decided he wanted to play with our picture for a while.
Maybe he was missing Dee since he was at work.
A picture looks so different from this angle.
He's running toward me so it's a little blurry. It's hard to catch him still now days.
I love him in foooted jammies. This looks very difficult to get up like this. He even looks like he's struggling a bit.
His Daddy is so proud. Check out the Tiger Woods in the making. Maybe we should loose the pacifier before he goes pro.Hooper is also mezmorized with buttons especially if they light up. Any button on the television is an instant magnet to him so I put up a road block (or so I thought) to the television and DVR in the bedroom. The suitcase he is standing on WAS standing up before he got to it. But now it just serves as a stepping stool. At least he's not a quitter! Once he gets his mind on something....watch out world because like it or not, he's going to get it!
Here's photos of our wonderful down pour last week I mentioned earlier.
My poor husband. As if he doesn't work hard enough during the week. He then get's to deal with this stuff when he gets home.
I guess I can't complain too much. The poor folks on the coast got it MUCH WORSE than we could ever think about. Always look for the silver lining, right?
Speaking of silver linings how's this picture to end the blog? I promise we did not stage this. The other night Dee came in after he checked in on Hooper and and told me I had to go look at him. This is what I found. Dreaming of football I guess! What a good boy!!!
See there's always a silver lining!
